Tracing Syntactic Change in a Kleinkorpussprache: Two Case Studies from Old Albanian

The paper presents a methodological discussion on the possibilites of (micro)parametric approach to syntactic reconstruction Old and pre-literary Albanian, illustrated by formal analysis position clitics verb (morpho)syntax definiteness in 16th 17th-century Albanian texts. It is argued that, contrast Modern lacked (that is, was process gradually acquiring) overt V-movement with imperatives sentential domain N-movement DP domain.
